Our investment strategy is focused on later stage medical device companies that have a near term clarity of exit and provide the best opportunity for risk-adjusted returns in today's medical device industry.  We believe that today's financing environment has created a growing number of outstanding later stage investment opportunities where experienced medical device investors can become investors at compelling valuations. We seek companies with unique and proprietary technologies that address significant unmet needs in high value therapeutic areas such as vascular diseases, spine, stroke prevention and treatment for pulmonary disease.

Although our investment focus is nationwide, our Minneapolis, MN location places us in the heart of one of the nation's best areas for emerging growth medical device companies. SightLine Partners is the successor firm to Piper Jaffray Ventures, having acquired the healthcare venture capital operations from Piper Jaffray on December 31, 2004.

Our team currently manages five healthcare funds that have collectively invested in over 70 companies since 1992.
